search_companies

Sök svenska företag. Fungerar utan inloggning.

Search Sweden's company register (all companies registered with Bolagsverket, enriched with SCB data) by name, organisation number prefix, industry, location, legal form, status and registration date. Use it to find a company before calling get_company, or to build lists (e.g. active limited companies in a municipality). Returns compact rows; call get_company for full details. Values are Swedish (municipality = kommun, county = län, legal_form = bolagsform). Only active companies are returned unless status is given. Results are paginated: pass next_cursor back unchanged with the same filters to get the next page. get_company

Hämta ett företag. Fungerar utan inloggning.

Get the public register facts for one Swedish company: name, organisation number, legal form, status, registration and deregistration dates, addresses, municipality, county, industry (SNI 2025 codes), F-tax, VAT and employer registration, employee and turnover size classes, website, and the latest key financial figures if annual reports exist. Identify the company with its organisation number (e.g. 556012-5790) or Swereg id (co_…). Sole traders (enskild firma) can only be fetched by id because their organisation number is a personal identity number. Money is in SEK (kronor). latest_* figures refer to the fiscal year ending latest_fiscal_year_end. null means the value is missing in the source, not zero. Always cite profile_url. Board members, CEOs and owners are never included.

get_financials

Get income statement and balance sheet figures per fiscal year for a Swedish company, taken from its digitally filed annual reports (årsredovisningar) at Bolagsverket. All amounts are in SEK (kronor, not thousands). Each row covers the fiscal year from fiscal_year_start to fiscal_year_end. source = arsredovisning means the year's own annual report; jamforelsear or flerarsoversikt (from_comparison_year = true) means the figures come from a later report. null means the item is missing in the report, not zero. Returns an empty list when no annual reports have been processed. Requires signing in (OAuth) or an API key with financials:read.

get_key_ratios

Get key ratios per fiscal year for a Swedish company, computed from its annual reports: equity_ratio (soliditet), quick_ratio, profit_margin, operating_margin, revenue_growth and return_on_equity as decimals (0.12 = 12 %), and revenue_per_employee in SEK. industry_median compares with companies in the same SNI division and size class (only when at least 5 companies exist). null means it could not be computed from the source, not zero. Requires signing in (OAuth) or an API key with financials:read.

list_changes

List recorded changes to public register fields (name, status, address, industry, etc.), either for one company or for all companies within a period. Give identifier for one company's history, and/or since (ISO date) for everything changed after that date. Types: company.created, company.updated, company.status_changed, financials.published. previous holds the earlier values of changed_fields. Paginate with after = the last seq you received. Requires signing in (OAuth) or an API key.

list_categories

Branscher. Fungerar utan inloggning.

List Swereg's industry categories with slugs, SNI 2025 prefixes and the number of active companies. Use the slugs as category in search_companies and company_statistics. Give parent to see one category with its subcategories.

find_similar_companies

Find active companies in the same Swereg industry category as a given company, first in the same municipality and then in the rest of Sweden. Useful for competitor lists or comparisons.

company_statistics

Statistik över företag. Kräver inloggning (OAuth) eller en API-nyckel.

Count Swedish companies matching filters, optionally grouped by county, municipality, category, legal_form, employees_class or registration_year, with revenue sum and medians where annual reports exist. Use it for questions like "how many active limited companies are there in Umeå" or "which municipalities have the most construction companies". Returns at most 500 groups, largest first. Revenue in SEK; equity_ratio_median as a decimal. At most 60 000 companies can be aggregated: add filters (municipality, category, legal_form) for larger selections. Without any filter, totals for all of Sweden (none, county, municipality or category) come from precomputed counts without metrics. Requires signing in (OAuth) or an API key.
